Château Dudon is located in the village of Baurech on the slopes overlooking the Garonne River, a few kilometers southeast of Bordeaux.
While the 1er Côtes de Bordeaux is one of the oldest planted wine regions, with its gravelly soils, this is due to its unique terroir, from which Château Dudon particularly benefits. It is a very narrow strip situated on a fold of clay-limestone gravel, favored by excellent drainage, which allows for a regulated water supply to the vines throughout their growth.
Château Dudon boasts over 85 hectares of superbly situated vineyards, overlooking the Garonne, cultivated according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, which advocates a drastic reduction in the use of chemical inputs of all kinds.
When a renowned Bordeaux winemaker takes an interest in a “small” château, they give it their all. Respect for and appreciation of the terroir, adherence to traditional methods, and rigorous selection make Château DUDON, with its dual Premières Côtes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux appellations, a particularly attractive value.
